Alan Watts lecture on reasoning set to ambient music and moving urban scenery of areas just off the beaten path around Greensboro, North Carolina. This was shot December 2015 through early January 2016. Camera techniques used were a motorized camera slider, tripod pans, focus pulls, and timelapse. This was shot mostly with a tilt shift 45mm lens on a Canon 5d mkii.

This was a really fun video to produce. Shooting it was a blast, hanging out for the board build and chasing these guys on foot with my glide cam turned out way cooler than i imagined. As far as the effects go I put together the original edit in black and white in Adobe Premiere. Next i built layers in Adobe After Effects, creating a color based key from the original footage, one may notice how the colors of the blocks shift with the action. They are tracing movements in the scene. Shout out to Dalton visionary/owner of Marble Mansion, they dabble in apparel, decks, boards, and more from Breckenridge, Colorado.
